1.041 billion dinars, ACC exports in 9 months

The Amman Chamber of Commerce's exports of goods and commodities to Arab and foreign countries, according to the certificates of origin it issued, during the past nine months of the current year amounted to 1.041 billion dinars, compared to 1.037 billion dinars for the same period last year.

According to statistical data from the Chamber, the number of certificates of origin issued by the Chamber during the past nine months of the current year 2024 increased by 6.6 percent, reaching 29,460 certificates, compared to 27,643 certificates during the same period last year.

The certificates of origin issued by the Chamber during the past nine months of the current year went to a group of countries, most notably Saudi Arabia with 8,848 certificates, followed by the Emirates with 3,086, Iraq with 1,898, Egypt with 894 certificates, and Switzerland with 21 certificates.

The statistical data issued by the Chamber on a monthly basis showed that exports, in terms of value, went to several countries, with Iraq at the forefront with a value of about 511 million dinars, followed by Saudi Arabia with about 91 million dinars, Egypt with 78 million dinars, the Emirates with about 65 million dinars, and Switzerland with about 50 million dinars.

The Chamber's exports during the past nine months of the current year 2024 were distributed among foreign products (re-exports) with a value of 517 million dinars, then industrial products with 211 million dinars, agricultural products with 143 million dinars, and Arab products with 68 million dinars, while the rest of the exports went to other products.

It is worth noting that the Chamber issues certificates of origin for agricultural and animal products and raw Jordanian natural resources, and for foreign goods that are re-exported, and for foreign goods purchased from the local market, under specific and specific conditions.

The Chamber also issues certificates of origin for Jordanian industrial products according to the source's request based on the original factory invoice, certified by a Chamber of Industry and an original and duly certified certificate of origin issued by a Chamber of Industry proving that the goods are of Jordanian origin.
